Symptoms rarely happen in a vacuum. What you ate, how well you slept, what you did, the weather — all of these can influence how you feel on any given day. Capturing that context alongside your symptoms gives you a much richer picture of your health, and helps Folia's Insights connect the dots between your daily life and your condition over time.
At the start of every check-in is a simple question - "How was your day?" This is meant to help you reflect on the day as a whole, and over time, spot patterns in your health with calendar filters.
However, we know no two "Good" days will truly look the same, so you can also add more context in The "What Else Happened?" section of your Journal, which is just below your Observations section.
You can think of this section as a place to capture anything that happened that day outside your symptoms and treatments that feels relevant to your health. Below is a framework for how to think about this section, but as always with Folia, you're free to make it your own and use it how it works best for you!
Notes: You may add a note to share a narrative for that day, such as how you were feeling, what you think might have triggered something, or other observations that aren't easily captured in a structured format.
Tags: This section is great for adding things you experience more consistently that are easily captured in a label. For example, "travel day", "labs drawn", or "social outing".
Images: This is where you can upload any related images for the day. This might look like a photo of rash to track it's progress or anything else you'd like. *You can also add images into specific symptoms or observations in the "Additional Details" section.
