Please note: Currently, U.S. English and U.S. Spanish are the only supported languages in Folia

Your Folia account will automatically set its language based on what the primary language of your phone is, but if you would like to switch your Folia between U.S. English and U.S. Spanish, here's how to do it!

On iOS

There are two different ways to adjust the language that you want to view Folia in.

Updating your iPhone's language setting

The first way is to update your iPhone's language setting. You update your device's primary language setting by going to Settings -> General -> Language & Region.

If U.S. Spanish is your device's primary language (it will display on top in that case), you can open your Folia app and view the app in Spanish! Similarly, if English is your primary language on your device, Folia content will display in English when you open it.

Updating Folia-specific language settings

If you have both English and Spanish added to your device's language settings (like is pictured above), you then have the option of what language to view Folia in. You can then go to your Folia app settings, via Settings -> Apps -> Folia, and then you can update the language from the Preferred Language setting (pictured below).

On Android

Similarly on Android, if your primary language on your phone is U.S. Spanish, you can open the Folia app up and the app content will appear in U.S. Spanish!

To adjust the language setting on your Android device, you can go to Settings -> General Management -> Language and input -> Language, and you can then update your primary language to Espanol (Estados Unidos) and click Apply.

If you have Android 13 or later, and you want to adjust only your Folia language setting to U.S. Spanish, you can go to Settings -> Apps -> Folia Health -> Language, and then you can select U.S. Spanish.
