This article is meant to help you understand Folia Insights.
We understand that most observations about your loved one’s health occur outside of the doctor’s office. When you use Folia to track these observations, it takes only a couple of weeks before we have enough data to start generating information on trends in your loved one’s health. Our Insights builder takes your observations and turns them into graphs, tables, and charts, to help you easily make sense of how things are going.
Graphs show your data in the form of a bar, line, pie, or other type of chart for easy visualization. For example, you can have a pie chart that shows that you tracked coughing on 40% of days, and had no coughing on 60% of days.
Tables are used to show the detailed data that you logged, day-by-day. For example, if you'd like to see which days had coughing tracked and which ones did not, you could click on Tables >> Coughing to see that information.
Insights are then exported into your Appointment Guide to help your doctor understand what’s been happening at home since the last clinic visit. To learn more about the Appointment Guide, see this article.
If you’re a new Folia user, keep up the tracking! Users who track every day will start to see interesting Insights as early as Week 4.
