When you've tracked a flare for a day, you will see the following flare icon for that day in the Journal

If you have not tracked a flare, but you've tracked observations or treatments for that day, you will see a dot to represent those tracked items on that day.

If you have not tracked a flare, observation, or treatment, you will not see a dot or a flare icon for that day.

There will still be no dot shown if you've only tracked:

The Type of Day

Or something in the What Else Happened? section
